The prosumer's guide

For a better understanding of the prosumer concept, National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) made available

The prosumer's guide (below you can find the download link). It is not a very dense read and should be read by anyone who wants to install a system for producing electricity from renewable sources, be it photovoltaic panels, wind power plants, hydro power plants, or others.

We also make available for download the stages of the process of connecting to the public interest electric network of the places of consumption and production belonging to the prosumers*), according to the provisions of ANRE order no. 19/2022, for:

– new places of consumption and production

– existing consumption/consumption and production sites to which electricity production facilities are connected, with increased power compared to the previously approved power for the respective consumption/consumption and production sites;

The stages of the connection process to the electrical network of public interest of places of consumption and production belonging to prosumers*), according to the provisions of ANRE order no. 19/2022, for:

– new places of consumption and production

– existing consumption/consumption and production sites to which installations are connected

The stages of the connection process to an existing place of consumption of installations for the production of electricity from renewable sources*), according to the provisions of ANRE order no. 19/2022

The situation in which no additional work or changes are made to the electrical installations upstream of the delimitation point

*) Applicants:

a) local public authorities that have capacities to produce electricity from renewable sources, provided for in art. 73^1 para. (2) from the Electricity and Natural Gas Law no. 123/2012, with subsequent amendments and additions;

b) natural and legal persons who own installations for the production of electricity from renewable sources with an installed power of no more than 400 kW per place of consumption;
